preparation started in 3rd year
Started making notes in 3rd year itself
did the 3rd year and short subjects while in 3rd year itself
in the final year did the final year subjects
the main source of prep was first “standard textbooks” and then “marrow”
always read books to treat the patients rather than preparing for the exam
attended the internship sincerely and discussed patient management with the seniors and faculty, this helped me understand things better, which eventually helped me in the exam.
finished internship in April, May exam rank was 283
Then gave the NEET exam and got a rank of 168, even though got a great seat and rank but continued preparing
factors that made him work again instead of settling with a seat :
- He wanted to get out of his comfort zone and didn’t want to waste time sitting at home while the counseling was going on.
- Didn’t join MD medicine in KEM and wanted to do something more, and had faith that he can do better, so continued the journey of the aspirant.

Watched the marrow videos of all the final year subjects and most of the pre and para-clinical subjects
made notes himself.
Loves Rakesh Sir for his knowledge and presence
Was scared of OG and Surgery, but Sakshi madam’s &Rohan sir’s notes were helpful.

Started Qbank in internship and completed almost all the modules
Did the Qbank before doing the topic: To know what to learn and what to avoid (retrograde Technique)
even if he did well on certain topics in the Qbank, he would still Read the notes.
Felt the difficulty of the Qbank was adequate and not very difficult, and focused more on the concepts rather than the question itself, reading the explanations in detail.
Reduced the 50 % bookmarks as he revised more and more

Started appearing for grand tests in the final year
He started Gts even before finishing all the subjects
Gave Gts at a frequency of once in 2 weeks
Reviewed the GT on the same day itself
Used the guess tracker to understand his guessing ability
Analytics helped him understand which subjects he needed to go back to and revise more
if your score is stagnant on GT, revision is the only key to improving your overall score in GTS
GT rank is only indicative and not absolute, so don’t be bogged down if your rank or score is not improving, just focus on revising the topics.

weak subjects should be revised completely and thoroughly
make a descending order of time for revision
50% time to be given to strong subjects and the remaining 50% to weak subjects
For any subject with a score less than 60% in Qbank, you should revise the notes again and again
Made the 20th notebook and revised it systematically
Never used First Aid

Be An optimist when it comes to your preparation
Try to be systematic in your preparation and revision, otherwise, time will be wasted without results
Learn the subjects to treat patients and not only to crack the exam.
